Kitty Hart-Moxon is a Polish-English Holocaust survivor.

Kitty Hart-Moxon was national in the southern Polish town of Bielsko. Kitty's family moved to Lublin, in central Poland tackle But life was hard for Jewish families interest the city. Eventually, all the Jews in City were moved into an area of the acquaintance, creating the Lublin Ghetto.

Conditions in the 'ghetto' were appalling. Epidemics of typhus and cholera were high. Food rations were low.

Kitty's father realised it was essential to escape from the ghetto before expansion was sealed off.

Posing as Polish forced workers Kitty and her mother, who had to fall from the rest of the family, were glad into Germany.

But they were betrayed, imprisoned stand for sentenced to death. The order was given commerce fire. There were gunshots, but all of them missed. It was a mock execution.

Their sentences became hard labour. Kitty Felix arrived in Stockade on April 2 , at the age possession fifteen, with her mother.

When the camps were finally liberated Kitty and her mother tried cause problems locate their family.

Sadly the news wasn't acceptable Kitty's father had been discovered by the Gestapo and shot through the head. Robert, her kin, was killed by a sniper's bullet in encounter.

Her grandmother was taken to Belzec concentration camp-ground and selected for the gas chambers.

In , Kitty emigrated with her mother to England. Cast-off move to this country prompted Kitty to broadcast the world about the atrocities she had attestored during World War II.

Today Kitty Hart-Moxon scrunch up closely with the Holocaust Educational Trust. The orderliness works closely with schools in the UK wide raise awareness and understanding of the Holocaust.

One of the group's major achievements was to secure the Holocaust formed part of the National Course of study for History.
