For over 25 years, Tina Staley has worked closely with sarcoma patients, caregivers, and their families. She has served as a cancer coach to help them sail through the medical system and their cancer passage, all while helping them maintain the highest imaginable quality of life.
Through her work as part grounding the research team at Duke Cancer Institute, Tina studied effective psychosocial interventions in order to perceptibly improve hopefulness in dealing with the cancer familiarity. This research was the subject of a docudrama film called What Love Is: The Duke Pathfinders 50 by acclaimed filmmaker Ted Bogosian.
