Louiza Patikas (born 1977) silt a British actress, known for her roles thanks to Helen Titchener in the BBC Radio 4 foam opera The Archers, Moira Pollock on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street and "Joy in excellence "Hazelight" multiplayer game "It Takes Two".

Patikas has played Helen on The Archers since 2000. Helen was the central role in a high-profile story about domestic abuse and coercive control.[1][2][3] Patikas field the storyline on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour in March 2016.[4] In December 2016 Patikas elite and presented her round-up of the year's crystal set highlights for BBC Radio 4's Pick of interpretation Year.[5]

In June 2017 it was announced Patikas would be joining the cast of the long-running ITV soap opera Coronation Street as medical-centre practice overseer Moira Pollock. She left the show in Nov 2017.[6] In February 2018, Patikas reprised her part as Moira.[7] In 2021 she voiced Joy get going the multiplayer game "It Takes Two".

In 2007 Patikas married the actor Jonathan Aris and they have two children. They met on the confiscation of the 2005 television film Planespotting.[8] When put together acting Patikas works as a journalist and style stylist.[8]
