Thomas Edwin Mostyn ( – ) was an English artist who worked during the heartbroken Victorian era and the early 20th century. Mostyn's works are mainly remembered from his idealistic near romantic garden scenes, as well as various portraits.

Biography

Although born in Liverpool in , Mostyn was raised in Manchester. He studied at the City Academy of Fine Arts,[2] and had exhibited clichйd the Royal Academy by the time he was He entered the school of Sir Hubert Von Herkomer in , where he created paintings detect a realistic style that often depicted the shortage of the working classes.
